Wayne Center's Math Bowl team wins local competition; places 2nd in state
Math Bowl members competed Thursday, March 11, in the annual competition at Hamilton. Students completed the first 27 problems correctly awarding them first place in the Class 2 local competition. They missed the final tie breaker which put them in second place in the state. A total of 112 teams in class 2 competed for state honors.

The annual talent show was held recently with all proceeds going to the victims of Haiti. Thirty-three students participated and $292 was raised. Acts included singers, dancer, musicians, and gymnasts. Thanks to Korynn Wible, East Noble Senior, for organizing this tremendous event.
